I had been a client at Trixie's Hair Studio for about 2½ years and always saw Joey. As a biracial woman, finding a hairstylist in the 518 area who I felt comfortable with has never been easy, so I really valued the relationship and trusted him with my hair. Unfortunately, my experience ended on a disappointing note. Without any explanation, Joey stopped responding to my messages and would leave them on read, despite us still being connected on Facebook. After being a loyal client for years, I expected at least the courtesy of a response or an explanation. What makes this especially discouraging is that it took a long time for me to find a salon where I felt comfortable as a woman of color. I left feeling dismissed and unimportant after years of loyalty. I hope the salon places greater value on communication and on making all clients feel respected and appreciated.
Went to Trixie's for highlights and a cut, Mackenzie was amazing! She knew exactly what style I had in mind and she slayed. The owner Tracy is so kind and welcoming, and so are all of the other girls there too! Very clean inside as well:)
